Powerhouse Balls

As I mention on the Instagram post, don’t get too used to me posting a recipe… Valeska is the expert here. Let’s just say I’m working on it. I CAN cook. Baby steps over the years.

So… let’s start off with some balls.

I love these particular balls. Maybe I just secretly get a laugh when I say the word. What?! I grew up with 5 brothers, own a business with 2 men and have 2 young boys. So, let’s just say I am familiar with the word. Oh man. (I’m still laughing and having fun with this one.)

Back to the task at hand. Try makin’ these gluten-free, protein-packed, powerhouse balls. They are always a hit at home and a ‘go to’ for gatherings. The addition of chocolate chips won’t hurt.

Powerhouse Balls

  • 2 cups of old fashioned rolled oats (regular or gluten free)

  • ½ cup of ground flax seeds

  • 1 tablespoon black chia seeds

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • ½ cup raw honey (so delish)

  • ½ cup of peanut butter (I like the crunchy kind)

  • 1tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder

  • ½ cup of dark chocolate chips (or a little more)
